A Heavenly World

Description:

Meetings aren’t by chance, they happen for a reason!

Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love… they depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces another, it merely expands our heart. If you have loved many dogs throughout your lifetime, you have a very big heart and a lot more love to share.

Our dogs are our fur-babies who find us and enter our lives for a special reason. They always give us 100% unconditional love and emotional support through the best of times, and the worst of times. But what happens after they have to leave us? Where do they go? This is a beautifully told story to help honor our furry family members and help children of all ages, through their journey of losing their beloved fur-baby, their fur-ever best friend.

Inspiration:

I wrote this children’s book after the sudden painful loss of our family pet puggle, Precious. We all assumed that she would come home after a surgery, but found out that she had a tumor on her spine that couldn’t be removed—they put her to rest while she was under anesthesia. We were told over a phone call. My children and I were completely devastated. I sat down with my tears and wrote these words, compiling them into a children’s book to help children and adults cope with the death of a beloved pet, whether that life be long and healthy or taken too soon. In a simple but beautiful way, my book depicts that our fur-babies are our unconditional best friends and complete our life while they are here with us, like Angels. But time goes by, growing older or having a sudden bad prognosis, and they’re called back “Home.” Coming home and crossing their rainbow bridge, they are angelic puppies again, running free and flying with angel wings—until they are needed again for another human: child or adult. Such sweet angelic souls are reborn for those who need them.

A Heavenly World written by Tracey Dean Widelitz and illustrated by Jennifer Sara Widelitz is an awesome children’s book. This is a heart touching and healing story meant to help children recover from the loss of their adorable pet dogs.

Compassion towards all living beings is not only a great value but a necessary value to have in life and it should be taught to children early in life. 5.0 out of 5 stars ‘Beautiful Tribute to our Four-Legged Angels!’
This book is a beautiful and sweet tribute to the four-legged angels in our lives. The beautiful writing perfectly expresses the joy, love, and companionship our animals bring into our world. Such a happy story, that still brought this grown mom to tears just thinking of the fur angels in my own life and how much I love them. The illustrations are beautifully drawn to follow the tale of a girl and her beloved dog, while also encompassing the bigger picture of the love and purpose that all animals bring into the lives of their human companions. A really special and enjoyable book both for children and for adults, and for any person whose life has been enriched by the love of an animal.

We just had to have our Princess put down. Our daughter doesn’t quite understand where her friend is and we’re trying to find the best way to explain so she gets it. I’ll def look for this book and be sure to read it to Morgan. I’m so sorry for ur loss. Losing a furbaby is one of the worse feelings. Thank u for turning that pain into something beautiful for others.
